Is HOD Mart a genuine website? Who runs it, and how to check

Yes — HOD Mart is a genuine Indian online store. It is the retail arm of HOD Media, which builds and runs online stores for Indian businesses, and it operates from Sukhnathpara, Liliya Road, near Shreji Tower, Amreli, Gujarat, 365601. Who runs HOD Mart?

HOD Media, a Gujarat company that builds and operates e-commerce storefronts. HOD Mart is its own shopfront rather than a client's — we sell on the same platform we sell to other businesses. How can I check the business is real?

Four things a genuine store publishes and a fake one usually does not:

• A street address, not a PO box. Ours is Sukhnathpara, Liliya Road, near Shreji Tower, Amreli, Gujarat, 365601.
• A phone number a human answers. +91 76009 39128, 10 am to 7 pm.
• Written policies with real numbers in them. Read our shipping, refund and cancellation pages — they state days and dates, not "as soon as possible".
• A padlock in the address bar. Every page of hodmart.in is served over HTTPS.

Is it safe to pay?

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment gateway, and you can pay by UPI, credit or debit card, net banking, or choose Cash on Delivery where it is available. If you would rather not pay online at all, Cash on Delivery is the answer — though prepaid orders carry the larger automatic discounts, which we explain in our offers guide.

What if my order goes wrong?

You have 7 days from delivery to return an item. Message us with your order number and we arrange the pickup — you do not book a courier yourself. Once the item reaches our warehouse, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item reaches our warehouse. If we cannot fulfil an order at our end, we cancel it and refund you in full.

One thing we are direct about because it catches people out: Once an order is confirmed it cannot be cancelled or modified. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the item is out of stock, a pricing error occurs, or the delivery pincode is not serviceable — in which case the full amount is refunded.

Do you charge GST?

No. HOD Mart does not charge GST at present, so no tax is added at checkout — the price shown on the product page is the price you pay, before any discount.
